Acquiring surface signal
Natural Hydrogen Pan-India

India holds Subsurface Hydrogen: We map where.

Project Shweta reads the whole of India for the surface signals of natural hydrogen and resolves them into the places worth investigating next.

Why Project Shweta exists?

Project Shweta is designed to help find natural hydrogen, a clean and continuous renewable energy resource generated deep within the Earth. Unlocking it could become a meaningful part of a low-carbon future.

The challenge lies in its existence far below surface. But the deep earth is rarely silent: its systems leave faint marks at the surface: gentle and subtle shifts in the markers to miss, and easy to confuse with ordinary features.

Project Shweta's purpose is to catch those signals and make sense of them, turning a vast, noisy landscape into a focused picture of where the Earth is most likely pointing toward hydrogen, so exploration effort goes exactly where it matters. The work spans the whole of India.

// What the surface tells us

Deep hydrogen systems can vent and react over geological time, leaving soft, and chemical traces on the land above.

Read carefully, these surface expressions become clues, a way to sense what lies kilometres below without drilling first.

"The surface remembers what the deep earth is doing."

Catching the signal.

A real signal from the deep earth reaches the surface buried in noise. Project Shweta listens for it, separates the faint, meaningful pattern from everything around it, and resolves it into a clear reading.

Mission & Vision

Our Mission

To accelerate the search for natural hydrogen by sensing the subtle signs the deep earth leaves at the surface — and turning them into focused, trustworthy guidance on where to explore.

Our Vision

A future where clean, geologically-sourced hydrogen contributes meaningfully to the energy transition — discovered through patient science, and carried forward in a name worth remembering.

In Memory of
Shweta

This project carries her name. It began as a way to honour her and has grown into a search guided by purpose, hope, and the belief that meaningful work can carry a memory forward.

Every signal we understand and every place we uncover becomes part of that remembrance.

- remembered in light.
